Yes. CYCLE is totally non-toxic and in fact all ingredients are completely biodegradable and natural.

The main ingredients are a mixture of repurposed organic acids (mainly acetic acid aka vinegar) and recycled water. The other key ingredients we use are citric acid, plant based surfactant, food grade xanthan (only in the toilet cleaner) and a tiny bit of natural essential oils for the fresh fragrance.

Repurposed organic acids are a combination of acetic acid (aka vinegar), propionic acid, butyric acid and other organic acids in minute quantities. Our organic acids are derived from the fermentation of left-over biomass and therefore the moniker recycled. Fun fact - these organic acids are also formed in our bodies i.e. that's how safe they are!

While plant-based vinegar is made of crop (corn, sugarcane) that is essentially food diverted for use as feedstock for industrial purposes, our organic acids (majority of which is acetic acid aka vinegar) is made from biomass. We upcycle carbon rather than create new carbon as in the case of plant or petro based products.

Our bottles are made of 100% post-consumer recycled plastic*. That means there is a chance that you have already met with this bottle before! (*excl. closure)

The ingredients of CYCLE is 100% recyclable, the same way as it was made. As it goes down the drain, it becomes organic waste which can be biologically fermented again. The bottles are made of recycled plastic and after use, they can be recycled into something else again. Our weakest link is our spray head as it is neither recycled nor recyclable, so we encourage you to use it as long as possible.

The base ingredients of our cleaners are repurposed organic acids and recycled water gained through fermentation and distillation of waste. This forms more than 90% of the ingredients and are the justification for our use of recycled cleaner.

In case you put them into the correct bin, they go to a recycling center where they get cleaned, shredded and revived as a completely different product.

Absolutely! None of the ingredients contain any animal product. And if kombucha is vegan, so are we!
