CYCLE "Valentine's Day" Game Rules

These Prize Draw Terms and Conditions (hereinafter referred to as the "Rules") apply to the reNEW Technologies Hungary Kft. on social media channels managed by CYCLE - Hungary on the Facebook page "Valentine's Day" (hereinafter referred to as the "Sweepstakes") on the following terms and conditions. The Prize Draw is published, organised and operated by reNEW Technologies Hungary Kft,

By entering the Prize Draw, you automatically accept the provisions of these Rules and Regulations and agree to be bound by them. Participation in the Sweepstakes is conditional upon Facebook registration, i.e. acceptance of Facebook's terms of use and data management. 

  1. Persons participating in the Prize Draw 

Participation in the Game is voluntary and free of charge. 

The Prize Draw is open to all natural persons over the age of 18 who are resident or domiciled in Hungary, who fully comply with all the conditions set out in these Rules and who are not subject to any disqualification from the Prize Draw (hereinafter referred to as the "Player"). reNEW Technologies Ltd. employees, partners, agents and their close relatives.

Anyone who in any way compromises the fairness of the operation of the competition or withdraws the data management consents detailed in these Rules during the period of the competition or prior to the prize being awarded will be disqualified. 

  1. Description of the Sweepstakes 

During the Sweepstakes, Players will answer in a comment the knowledge-based question posed in the underlying Facebook post. The correct answers given in the comments will be entered into a draw at the end of the game to win the

winner from among the contributors.

Correct answers are welcome in comments until midnight on 14 February 2023. We will draw 2 CYCLE XL Starter Packs.

Draw: 15.02.2023. 15:15.

  1. Duration of the Prize Draw 
  2. Friday 10 February 2023 at 17:33 and Tuesday 14 February 2023 at 23:59. Draw date: 15 February 2023 (Wednesday) 15:00.

You can participate in the Prize Draw and register for it during the advertised period. Entries received before the start and after the end of the Prize Draw Period will be void. Responses received before or after the end of the Sweepstakes Period will not be considered. 

  1. Conditions of participation 

Only the answers of those Players who meet the eligibility requirements set out in these Rules and Regulations, i.e. who have correctly replied to the comment under the post in accordance with the terms and conditions of the Prize Draw, have a Facebook profile, will be considered. A Player is only eligible to win one prize. To register for the Prize Draw, you must 

not valid if the conditions for participation are not met. Entry to the Prize Draw is open for the entire duration of the Prize Draw and the date of entry will not affect the Player's chances of winning. 

  1. Prize draw 

During the Sweepstakes, 2 CYCLE XL Starter Packs will be drawn, worth 8490 HUF gross/piece.

The prize cannot be converted into cash. The Promoter will be liable for any personal income tax directly applicable to the prize and for any additional tax or other levy directly related to the prize. The Promoter will not award any prizes other than those listed here. 

  1. Winner selection, notification, prize collection

The answers received will be judged after the game has ended, 15 February 2023 at 15:00by means of a randomized online application.

Winner(s) will be notified via Facebook, comment or private message within 48 hours. If the winner cannot be contacted or there is an obstacle to receiving the prize, a reserve winner will be selected. If any winner is disqualified from the Competition or fails to collect the prize, the reserve winners will become eligible to receive the prizes. 

The Players are obliged to cooperate with the Organiser in order to receive or claim the prizes. If they fail to do so and the prize is not collected or claimed, the prize may no longer be collected or claimed.

The Promoter will send the prizes by post to the winners at the address provided by them. If the delivery fails twice, the Organiser will not be able to provide another opportunity to collect the prizes. The Promoter shall not be held liable for any misrepresentation by the Winner. If it is not possible for the Reserve Winner to be awarded the prize, the prize will not be offered by the Promoter to anyone else. 

  1. Data management 

The processing of the Players' personal data shall be governed by the provisions of this clause. The inclusion of personal data is based on the voluntary consent of the Players, the processing of the personal data of the winning Player(s) is based on Act XCII of 2003 on the Rules of Taxation, Act C of 2000 on Accounting and Act CXVII of 1995 on Personal Income Tax. reNEW Technologies Ltd. The data provided during the registration for the Sweepstakes (Facebook name), subject to the exceptions for the winners listed below, will be processed for a maximum period of 6 months after the evaluation; the record containing the name, e-mail address and telephone number of the winning Player(s) will be kept at the registered office for 8 years in order to fulfil the accounting obligations pursuant to Article 169 of Act C of 2000, or for the limitation period specified in Act XCII of 2003 on the Rules of Taxation. Post the name(s) of the winning Player(s) publicly on the CYCLE Hungary Facebook page solely in connection with the Prize Draw after the prize has been awarded.

7.1 Purpose of data processing: in the context of the game, the Organiser processes data for the following purposes: 

  • organising and running the game, delivering prizes; 
  • contacting and liaising with registered players and persons who contact them during the game in relation to the game; complaint handling, fraud detection. 
  1. 2. Legal basis for processing, legitimate interests: 
  • Consent - pursuant to Article 6(1)(a) of the GDPR - in connection with the organisation and running of a promotional game, and in connection with maintaining contact with the Player. The Player is entitled to withdraw his/her consent at any time. The withdrawal of consent shall not affect the lawfulness of the processing based on consent prior to its withdrawal. 
  • Legitimate interest - GDPR 6. Article 6(1)(f) - The Data Controller considers it to be in its legitimate interest to ensure the integrity of the programme and to prevent abuse in connection with the Game and to preserve the reputation of the Controller's brand, and therefore, in the event of suspected abuse, it may invite any participant in the Game to make a statement, to prove his/her identity, and may exclude anyone from the Game in the event of suspected abuse, whereby the processing of data in connection with the decision and data retention is based on the legitimate interest of the Data Controller.
  • Legal obligation: - based on Article 6 (1) (c) and (e) of the GDPR - the processing of the Player's data may be mandatory for tax, accounting, complaint handling or on the basis of a request by a public authority or a court.
7.3 The Player, as the data subject of the processing, has the following rights in relation to the processing: 

  • Right of access: the Player has the right to receive a concise and comprehensible answer from the controller as to whether or not his or her personal data are being processed and, if so, the right to access the personal data and related information as defined in the EU Regulation.

  • rectification or erasure, right to restriction of processing: the Player has the right to have inaccurate personal data concerning him/her rectified by the controller upon his/her request without undue delay. The Player shall have the right to obtain, at the request of the controller, the erasure of personal data relating to him or her without undue delay and the controller shall be obliged to erase personal data relating to the data subject without undue delay, unless there is a legal impediment. The Player may request the restriction of the use of personal data where the processing is unlawful but the Player opposes their erasure. 

  • the right to portability: the Player has the right to receive the personal data provided to the Controller in a structured, commonly used, machine-readable format, and the right to transmit such data to another Controller, even directly, without the Controller's hindrance. 

  • right to withdraw consent: the Player may withdraw his consent to data processing, in whole or in part, at any time, however, the withdrawal of consent shall not affect the lawfulness of the processing carried out on the basis of the consent prior to the withdrawal.

  1. Responsibility 

The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any shortcomings in the Prize Draws (name, address, wrong answer, etc.), or for any delay in notification or delivery. The Players shall bear all consequences arising from any incorrect information provided by them or from the inability of their mailbox to receive mail. The accuracy of the data is generally not verifiable by the Promoter during (or after) the registration for the Prize Draw. In any case, the responsibility and all legal and financial consequences in this respect rest solely with the Players.

The Promoter excludes all liability for any claims for damages, compensation for any costs, damages, losses arising from or related to any errors, defects, malfunctions, delays, or losses arising out of or in connection with participation in the Prize Draw. 

By participating in the Prize Draw, the Player expressly waives any and all rights and obligations with respect to the conduct of the Prize Draw, the judging, the prizes, the winners, the organizer or any third party claims against any third party.

The Promoter is also not liable if the Prize Draw or the community site/webpage containing the Prize Draw and these Rules is temporarily unavailable for technical reasons during the duration of the Prize Draw. The Promoter is also not liable for any errors and their consequences caused by any cause beyond its control (such as technical malfunction or failure of the Internet network). 

  1. Other 

The Promoter reserves the right to change these Rules. These Rules will be available for the duration of the Prize Draw and for 5 days after the Prize Draw has been awarded. If you have any questions regarding the Prize Draw, please contact [email protected].
