I never wanted to make cleaning products. It was born out of an unhappy accidental moment when my sister, who was battling breast cancer, taught me to remove toxic cleaning products from her home. We launched Cycle with much fanfare at the end of 2019, and then almost ended up in the landfill due to restrictions caused by Covid. Two years later, a global brand focused attention on us and sued us. After two more years of pain and countless dramas, we won the right to say: we were made from recycled water! And although I lost my sister early, what I hold firmly is her and our fight against toxicity and greenwashing by creating uncompromising products.
