Our founder's sister was diagnosed with breast cancer, and the first thing she did was throw out every toxic cleaning product in her home. Sadly, she didn't survive her fight. But she never stopped believing that the products we clean with shouldn't cost us our health. Her story is the motivation behind CYCLE. 

2020: Covid made it clear

 

When the pandemic hit, people cleaned constantly with bleach, disinfectant, and anything that felt powerful enough. We watched the world reach for the most toxic products on the shelf and understood what our founder's sister had seen years earlier.

2021: Our scientific breakthrough

 

For years, our chief scientist had been cleaning her home with vinegar. In fact, humans have relied on it to clean for generations! It's natural, safe, and kind to the environment. So we asked, what if we could make vinegar from wastewater? After many failed lab experiments, we did it! By fermenting organic waste, we extract effective and sustainable cleaning acids just like vinegar. It's truly circular: what goes down the drain is recycled back up to clean.

2023: We won the right to tell our story

 

When we went to market, one of Europe's largest cleaning corporations took us to court, challenging our recycling claims. We defended the science behind our unique process and a court ruled we have the right to call ourselves the world's first recycled cleaner, made from recycled wastewater and organic acids. David beat Goliath.
