These small devices, which at first glance you might think don't have much of a role to play, are actually key to creating a plastic-free home.
We have found that our ready-to-use cleaning productsno longer include nozzles in our webshop. If you buy online, you can now get them with aluminium caps. But don't worry! In the following paragraphs, we'll explain why we've made this decision and how you can get your nozzles.
What is a nozzle and why can't it be recycled?
Spray nozzles are found on the top of most detergent bottles and make cleaning much easier as they they control the dosage!
And while they may seem very small and insignificant, these complex and delicate mechanical structures made up of various plastic components. They often contain 10 or more components, including valves, springs, seals, pipes, nozzles. But unfortunately, sorting these is a major challenge in recycling. So it is not surprising that they are not recycled very often.

Regular cleaning will extend the life of your nozzles!
Now that we've realised the potential of our nozzles, it's time to find out how to increase their lifespan! As well as not throwing them away after our bottle of cleaner runs out, one useafter one use., don't give them up even if they don't work! It may just be a small blockage.
Let's see how to clean the nozzle:
First, hold the nozzle under running water to remove any dirt. Then place the bottom of the hose in a cup or bowl of warm water and spray a few times to get the water up through the hose. Continue this until the spray nozzle sprays cleanly.
If the spray nozzle is clogged, you can use vinegar and water!
For this method, remove the nozzle from the bottle. Mix vinegar and water in a bowl and place the nozzle upside down in the bowl, but with the water flowing into the tubes. Leave it for a few minutes, then put it back on top of the bottle, wipe it dry and try it.

In this case, select the 10x concentrateswhich, true to their name, can be diluted 1:10. This way, you can easily make a 500 ml cleaner from a 50 ml concentrate at any time. Don't worry, preparation takes no more than 20 seconds. By simply adding water, you can easily and quickly prepare cleaning products from the concentrate.
