You can't even recycle waste water! You can. As CYCLE does. Although CYCLE 's purified water does not need to pass drinking water certification because it produces detergents, we are not far from that either, as Bill Gates made it happen back in 2015. Isn't it amazing? The technology is already here.
From wastewater to drinking water? Why?
More than 2.5 billion people around the world lack access to clean drinking water. Our next blog article will look at just that. Why does CYCLE not use a single drop of drinking water to make its products? How much fresh water does the Earth and Hungary have?
But Bill Gates' foundation has long been working to solve the problem of drinking water shortages in developing countries. Then the multi-billionaire suddenly uploaded his own YouTube channel, showing a machine that turns wastewater into water suitable for human consumption . To prove that the method really works and is safe, Bill Gates himself drank a glass of water that had been sewage 5 minutes earlier.
How does Bill Gates' biomass power plant for drinking water work?
The miracle machine turns faeces into energy and waste water into drinking water. It extracts the water from the incoming waste water and burns the remaining dry matter at 1000 degrees Celsius, so there are no unpleasant odours. The resulting steam produces energy. This power generation ensures that the system works to produce clean water. In this way, the extracted water is purified, disinfected and freed of all harmful substances.
"Just a few minutes later, I could taste the result - drinking water. The water tasted as good as any bottled water I've ever drunk. I learned the technique and I would love to drink it every day. This water is safe," the Microsoft billionaire explained.
It will take years to mass-produce the miracle structure. The next step is to To produce 86,000 litres of drinking water a day from the wastewater of 100,000 people, while generating 250 kilowatts of electricity. All this is planned to be done for the first time in Senegal. We await news of the opening.
What do you think about this? Would you drink the drinking water of Bill Gates' miracle machine?
