CYCLE “Valentine's Day” Game Rules

The terms and conditions of this Sweepstakes (hereinafter referred to as: Rules) apply to the games announced on social media channels managed by reNEW Technologies Hungary Kft ., the “Valentine’s Day” announced on the Facebook page named CYCLE - Hungary (hereinafter referred to as: Sweepstakes) with the following terms and conditions. The Sweepstakes is announced, organized and managed by reNEW Technologies Hungary Kft.,

By participating in the Prize Draw, the entrant automatically accepts the provisions of these Regulations and acknowledges that they are binding on him/her. Participation in the Prize Draw requires Facebook registration, i.e. acceptance of Facebook's terms of use and data processing.

  1. Persons participating in the Prize Draw

Participation in the Game is voluntary and free of charge.

The Prize Draw is open to any natural person over the age of 18, residing or domiciled in Hungary, who fully complies with all the conditions set out in these Regulations and who is not subject to any condition of exclusion from the Prize Draw (hereinafter referred to as: Participant). Employees, partners, agents of reNEW Technologies Ltd and their close relatives are NOT eligible to participate in the Prize Draw.

Anyone who jeopardizes the fair conduct of the competition in any way, or who withdraws the data processing consents detailed in these Regulations during the competition period or prior to the assessment, will be excluded from the competition.

  1. Description of the Sweepstakes

During the Competition, Players will provide their answers in the comments to the knowledge-based question asked in the Facebook post that serves as the basis for the competition. At the end of the competition, a winner will be drawn from the correct answers given in the comments.

  1. Duration of the Sweepstakes
  2. February 10 (Friday) 17:33 and February 14 (Tuesday) 2023 23:59. Draw date: February 15 (Wednesday) 2023 15:00.

It is possible to participate in the Prize Draw and apply for it during the announced time interval. Applications received before the start and after the end of the Prize Draw period are invalid. Responses received before or after the Prize Draw period will not be considered.

  1. Participation conditions

Only the answers of those Players who fully and collectively meet the participation conditions specified in these Rules will be considered, i.e. they have answered correctly in the comment under the post in accordance with the terms of the Prize Draw and have a Facebook profile.   1. Prize

During the Prize Draw, 2 CYCLE XL Starter Packages will be raffled off, with a gross value of HUF 8,490/piece.

The prize cannot be exchanged for cash. The organizer undertakes to pay any personal income tax directly applicable to the prize and any additional tax or other possible contributions directly arising in connection with the prizes. The organizer will not award any prizes other than those listed here.

  1. Winner selection, notification, and prize collection

The responses received will be judged after the game ends, on February 15, 2023, at 3:00 PM , using an online application based on the principle of randomness.

The winner(s) will be notified via Facebook, in a comment or by private message within 48 hours. If the winner cannot be contacted or is unable to claim the prize, alternate winners will be selected. If any winner is disqualified from the Contest or does not claim the prize, the alternate winners will be eligible for the prize.

Players are required to cooperate with the organizer in order to receive and use the prizes. If they fail to do so and the prize is not collected, the prize cannot be received or used any further.

The Organizer will send the prizes to the winners by post to the address provided by them. If delivery is unsuccessful twice, the Organizer cannot provide another opportunity to receive the prizes. The Organizer is not liable for any incorrect data provided by the Player. If it is not possible to award the given prize to the reserve winner either, the Organizer will not offer the prize to anyone else.

  1. Data management

The provisions of this section shall govern the processing of the Players' personal data. These Regulations shall also be considered as a Personal Data Processing Notice. The collection of personal data is based on the Players' voluntary consent, and the processing of the winning Player(s)' personal data is based on Act XCII of 2003 on the Taxation System, Act C of 2000 on Accounting and Act CXVII of 1995 on Personal Income Tax. By participating in the Prize Draw, the Players consent to reNEW Technologies Ltd. recording and processing their personal data as follows: the data provided during the registration for the Prize Draw (Facebook name) shall be processed - taking into account the differences listed below for the winners - for a maximum of 6 months after the assessment; to keep the minutes containing the name, e-mail address and telephone number of the winning Player(s) at its registered office for 8 years in accordance with Section 169 of Act C of 2000, or for the limitation period specified in Act XCII of 2003 on the Taxation Procedure, in order to fulfill its accounting obligations. After the assessment, the names of the winning Player(s) will be publicly published on the CYCLE Hungary Facebook page exclusively in connection with the Prize Draw.

7.1. Purpose of data processing: Within the framework of the game, the Organizer processes data for the following purposes:

  • organization and conduct of games, delivery of prizes;
  • contacting and maintaining contact with registered players and persons initiating contact during the game in relation to the game; complaint handling, fraud detection.
  1. 2. Legal basis for data processing, legitimate interests:
  • Consent - pursuant to Article 6(1)(a) of the GDPR - in connection with the organization and conduct of a promotional game and communication with the Player. The Player has the right to withdraw his/her consent at any time. Withdrawal of consent does not affect the lawfulness of data processing based on consent prior to withdrawal.
  • Legitimate interest - pursuant to Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR - The Data Controller considers it to be its legitimate interest to prevent the purity of the program and abuse in relation to the Game, and to preserve the good reputation of the Data Controller's brand. Therefore, in the event of suspected abuse, any participant in the Game may be called upon to make a statement and verify their identity, and in the event of suspected abuse, anyone may be excluded from the Game, whereby data processing related to decision-making and data retention is based on the legitimate interest of the Data Controller.
  • Legal obligation: - based on Article 6(1)(c) and (e) of the GDPR - the processing of the Player's data may be mandatory for tax, accounting reasons, complaint handling or upon request from an authority or court.
7.3. The Player, as the data subject, has the following rights in relation to data management:

  • Right of access: The Player has the right to receive a concise, clear answer from the data controller as to whether his/her personal data is being processed and, if so, to have access to the personal data and related information as defined in the EU regulation.

  • rectification or erasure, right to restriction of data processing: The Player has the right to have the data controller rectify inaccurate personal data concerning him/her without undue delay upon request. The Player has the right to have the data controller erase personal data concerning him/her without undue delay upon request, and the data controller is obliged to erase personal data concerning the data subject without undue delay, unless there is a legal obstacle to doing so. The Player may request the restriction of the use of personal data if the data processing is unlawful but opposes its erasure.

  • the right to data portability: The Player has the right to receive the personal data provided to the Data Controller in a structured, commonly used, machine-readable format and has the right to transmit this data to another Data Controller, even directly, without hindrance from the Data Controller.

  • Right to withdraw consent: The Player may withdraw his/her consent to data processing in whole or in part at any time, however, the withdrawal of consent does not affect the lawfulness of the data processing carried out on the basis of consent before the withdrawal.

  1. Responsibility

The organizer is not responsible for any incompleteness of the Prize Draws (misspelling of name, address, wrong answer, etc.), notification or delivery delay. The Players are responsible for all consequences arising from the data they provide incorrectly or the inability of their mailbox to receive mail. The organizer is generally not able to verify the accuracy of the data during (or after) the application for the Prize Draw. In this regard, the responsibility and all associated legal and financial consequences lie exclusively with the Players in all cases.

The organizer excludes all liability for any claims for compensation or indemnity during participation in the Prize Draw, for any errors, deficiencies, malfunctions of the Prize Draw, or for any costs, damages, or losses arising from or related to delays during the Prize Draw.

By participating in the Prize Draw, the Player expressly waives any claims against the organizer or any third party related to the conduct of the Prize Draw, the judging, the prizes, or the winners .

The organizer also assumes no liability if the Contest, or the community page/website containing the Contest and these Rules, is temporarily unavailable for technical reasons during the Contest period. The organizer is also not liable for errors and their consequences arising from reasons beyond its control (for example, technical malfunctions or outages in the Internet network).

  1. Other
